AFTERMATH

This project was one of the trickiest I had to work on, because I never really was able to push it to a point where I was satisfied with it. This was shot during daytime, and then composited to look like night. I had to replace the sky, relight the car, the bushes and the floor. To do so I recreated the car and the scene in 3D and used nuke lights to relight it. The fire lighting itself was a combination of grading and glows. In the end I am happy that I got this close to my reference, and I am happy with the relight, however if I had to redo the shot I would probably change the framing and the fire. The simulation was done by my friend Aurelien Marin.
